Cafe Charlot is my favourite place too. September really is the best time to visit. Agree re the exchange rate...for us Brits too I’ve never seen so many Louis Vuitton shopping bag toting Brits as I did on my last visit - we now get reimbursed up to 30% post Brexshit 🤣
September has completely ruined me for other months! And omg 30% is soo good, I would be wildly misbehaved with my cc :) I only found out on my way to London that the UK doesn’t do tax free for tourists anymore… sad!
Yes it’s so stupid and has hit the economy hard here because all the eastern shoppers we depended on have left! Another failing on part of our ridiculous gov’t...
